SWANA's WASTECON is a business casual/casual event; jackets and ties are not required.  If you will be attending some of the social events, we do recommend the following:

  • Facility Tours: Remember you are visiting working sites, therefore open-toed shoes, skirts, and shorts are not recommended.  A coat may be required in case of inclement weather.

Do I have to pay just to visit the exhibitor's hall?

Admission to the exhibitor's hall is free.  Before entering, all you have to do is register at the customer service desk to receive your Show Only Free Pass.

  • Lots of Business Cards: You'll have the chance to meet a lot of other Solid Waste Professionals with whom you'll want to keep in touch after the show.
  • RFPs: You'll have the chance to review products you are planning to purchase over the next year with exhibitors, consultants, and other attendees who have made similar purchases.
